Reports about socio-ecological conflicts

--------

Continuing with the research on socio-ecological conflicts in the Barcelona Metropolitan Region (RMB), a total of five reports were written during the years 2020 and 2021, documenting the results of studies related to various socio-ecological conflicts affecting the RMB.

The research methodology is based on documentation, web resources, and interviews. The main issues and the social actors involved are listed, and the situation is analyzed through debate and reflection.

Although each report focuses on a specific region, a global perspective of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (and Catalonia) is maintained for more general issues and for aspects that are common throughout the Catalan context.

These reports are prepared within the framework of collaboration between the Centre for Territorial Sustainability (CST) and the Metropolitan Strategic Plan (PEMB). "Joint action for identification, debate, and proposal collection on metropolitan territorial conflicts. Part of the Barcelona Tomorrow Process. Metropolitan Commitment 2030."

The report writing involves, from the CST team, Sigrid Muñiz, Llorenç Planagumà, Àlex Casademunt, and Mireia Jiménez, and from the PEMB, Nel·la Saborit and Irene Navarro contribute.
