Participation and mediation roundtables of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB)
--------
These roundtables have their origin in the result obtained from the mapping of actors and socio-ecological conflicts in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB) , given the need to integrate, in territorial planning and the management of socio-ecological conflicts, the vision of experts, specialists, managers of the territory and socio-environmental movements.
Consequently, in 2016, a report was drawn up that included the project to carry out the Tables, although, since then until now, there have been modifications in its final practical application. This first report can be consulted here .

The Roundtables :

The roundtables consist of a series of regular meetings around different problems proposed, and also coordinated by the Strategic Planning Area of the AMB, in order to generate group dynamics that address them and find joint and integrative solutions .

The specific objectives are:
-
Initiate, propose and carry out independent and participative research around various socio-ecological problems.
-
To offer a space where it is possible to expand, improve, exchange and produce knowledge that facilitates the approach of these problems and in which the meeting of the actors involved as agents of knowledge is promoted.
